Product Identification Code (PIC for material traceability), and the working load limit is forged into the bow. Approved for use in -40 degrees F to 400 degrees F.
The Crosby Difference: There are many look-a-like Crosby shackles, often found at lower prices and advertised with the same safety standards. Be aware it may refer to safety ratings in effect decades ago. For example, under the same safety standard a decade ago a lifting shackle may be rated to 100% without proof load testing, while today it may be 300% with proof load testing.
WARNING: Never exceed rated capacity!
