How It Works:  One loop is adjustable. Tension from ifting causes this loop to lock without creeping. Slings can be pulled tight around an object, and under lifting tension the loop will not tighten further, cutting into the load. Loops are easy to reopen after lifting.

Application: Adjustable rope slings often used for lifting smaller & heavier loads such as tree trunks.

Description: The synthetic rope sling tightens around and holds a tree trunk or similar smaller loads without needing additional knots. Contains two loops: One fixed eye and one adjustable. The adjustable loop is loosened and tightened, pulling the loose tail end through what is known as a ‘long bury eye splice’ or simply ‘bury.’The tail end slides through the bury to adjust the loop. Like a Chinese finger trap, the bury tightens with tension for a snug hold around the load. Color varies by diameter.
